Faithless The DANCE ( Review )

All in all it’s a listenable dance house feeling album compared to their previous projects. Allowing you to dance hop, skip, stomp or whatever you do when something drives….

I’m sure you all have been hearing the lyrically hypnotic “Not going Home” with all its excellent remixes by Eric Prydz, Armin Van Buuren and Faithless’s very own Sister Bliss… All of which are exceptionally executed!

Don’t settle for less than the EPIC “2 DISC DELUXE EDITION” of the DANCE that will bless you with 16 Tasty Tracks! After Coming Around (The Temper Trap)’s 1 min 30 s lead up, a deep faithless beat starts to sway you leading into their current single Tweak your Nipple. Feeling good feature Dido (seriously I forgot she existed!) is brilliant and is one of the tracks on the album that does not lend itself to experimentation that much, Dido’s voice lends itself well to the two songs she’s featured on on the DANCE. SUN to me (ands its remix) and the remix of Happy found on disc two are like most of the songs on the album. Having hard hitting house electro beats with ethereal keyboard keys and infectious drums. All in all the Album scored a 8.5 out of 10 on my score board so go and GET IT!

Summary:

An excellent Album for new and established fans it will not disappoint. Still don’t hear where Maxi Jazz improved lyrically by using “conscientious” lyrics but hey its faithless it’s suppose to be FUN MUSIC!

Tracks that stood out with first listen: Not going home (All versions present on album), Feel Me, Coming Around (The Temper Trap), Tweak your Nipple, Flyin Hi, Love is My condition, Feeling Good, North Star, SUN TO ME (Both iterations), Happy (Both iterations)

Additional tracks to find / Bonus Material :

  • Faithless - Scandalous" (Tesco & Saturn / Media Markt exclusive)
  • Not Going Home video (erotic version)
